INTERIOR / EXTERIOR

Just a few kilometers from the epicenter of the 1945 atomic bombing, Mitaki Buddhist Temple stands preserved, sheltered by the surrounding mountains from the nuclear blast.

This documentary weaves together the lives of three individuals from Hiroshima—a young female artist in search of meaning, an established artist marked by the past, and a monk who has made silence an act of resistance—to explore how art, spirituality, and memory intertwine in a city that has learned to live with its scars.
