EL LUGAR DE LAS TRES CASCADAS

Nestled in the mountains outside Hiroshima, the Buddhist temple of Mitaki stands beside three waterfalls whose waters have flowed uninterrupted through war, loss, and renewal. Shielded from the devastation of the atomic explosion, the temple has become a space where nature, memory, and spirituality converge.

Through the stories of three people connected to Hiroshima, the film traces the subtle ways in which history remains present in everyday life. Their journeys unfold among rituals, silences, and landscapes, revealing a city that continues to rebuild itself not only through remembrance, but through the simple act of living.

The Place of the Three Waterfalls is a poetic reflection on memory, time, and the enduring relationship between human beings and the places they inhabit.
